Benefits of Massage.

Swedish (Therapeutic) Massage, Neruomuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage and Trigger Point Work all affect our bodies in various ways that calm, relax, relieve pain and  eliminates stress and pain through reducing tightness in the muscles and encouraging the parasympathetic response (the relaxation response). This allows for endorphin and seratonin release as the body is allowed to loosen contracted muscle, fascial and ligament & joint tissue. This is the "ahhh" feeling of deep tissue massage.

Some of the more common treatment issues addressed: neck & shoulder pain, rotator cuff pain, upper, mid, low back, hip & sciatica pain, plantar fasciitis (foot pain), carpel tunnel, TMJ, tennis elbow, tendonitis, tendonosis (non re-gerneration of tendon), visceral pain (cramps, surgical scars), tension and mirgaine headaches.

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is made worse by the body holding stress. Stress and the resulting tight musculature can actually be the generator of pathologies such as tension headaches, achy neck/shoulders, sciatica, teeth grinding and TMJ etc. Perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Swedish, Neuromuscular and deep tissue massage are an effective tool for eliminating this stress.
